The kids are going to love this...favorite pizza toppings like sausage, pepperoni, sauce and cheese are mixed together and topped with pie crust to make a mouthwatering casserole. What fun!

Ingredients

1 / 2 of a pie crust cold 15-ounce package (bark)

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil

1 pound bulk pork sausage

1 pkg. (8 ounces) sliced mushrooms

1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)

1 1 / 2 cups Prego ® Traditional Italian Sauce Prego ® or roasted garlic sauce and Italian herbs

4 oz sliced pepperoni, chopped

2 cups grated mozzarella cheese (about 8 ounces)

1 / 2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 ° C. Let pie crust stand at room temperature for 15 minutes or until easy to handle.

2. Heat oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausages and cook until browned, stirring frequently to break up the meat. Pour the fat.

3. Add the mushrooms and onions and cook until tender. Stir the sauce and peppers, and cook until mixture is hot and bubbly. Remove the pan from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan. Spoon mixture into 2-Quart saucepan.

4. Place dough over sausage mixture and fold the edges or flute. Cut several slits in the crust.

5. Bake 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Allow the pan for 10 minutes before serving.

Tip:

Stamping or fluting the edges of the crust using the crust stick to the edge of the pan, making it less likely to contract.
