Turkey Burgers Recipe

We added veggies and spices to the lean ground turkey to make sure these burgers are both juicy and flavorful.
Ingredients

2 pounds ground turkey, Chuck beef, pork or chicken

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 red bell pepper, finely chopped small

1 / 2 cup chopped fresh cilantro

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon chopped garlic

1 tablespoon coarse salt

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon Tabasco chipotle pepper sauce or Tabasco

8 hamburger buns, split

tomato slices and lettuce, pickles, ketchup and fries garnish

Directions

1. Combine first nine ingredients in large bowl and mix gently with hands until blended. Form meat into 8 equal patties (about 3-1/2 inches in diameter by 3 / 4 inch thick) and cool on a plate to 15 minutes.

2. Preheat the grill. Grill the burgers on a lightly oiled grill over medium heat, turning once, until golden and cooked through, about 10 to 12 minutes. If desired, grill the buns, cut side down until golden, about 2 minutes.

3. Turn burgers and accessories in the bottom buns and top with remaining bread halves. Makes 8 burgers.
