Golden brown, seasoned pork chops simmer with onion in a creamy mushroom sauce and are served over hot cooked rice.
1 / 2 tsp. garlic powder
1 / 2 cup tea. paprika
1 / 4 c. tea. dried basil leaves or dried thyme leaves, crushed
4 boneless pork chops, 3/4-inch thick (about 1 pound)
1 tsp soup. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, sliced (about 1 / 2 cup)
1 can (10 3 / 4 ounces) Campbell's ® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (Regular or 98% fat)
1 / 4 cup milk
Hot cooked rice
Directions
1. Stir in garlic powder, paprika and basil on a platter. Coat pork with mixture of garlic powder.
2. Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and cook until browned on both sides.
3. Add the onion to the pan and cook until tender, stirring occasionally. Mix soup and milk and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cook 5 minutes or until pork is cooked. Serve sauce with pork and rice.
4. Tip: Serve with peas, boiled and sliced carrots. For dessert, pour a cup of apple red block and Golden Delicious apples topped with raisins and almonds.
